These are the species occurring across the Himalayas and China. It is a very diverse group with widely-varying cultural requirements soince species grow naturally in many different habitats ranging from high alpine situations down to quite humid subtropical ones. L. tsingtauense (below) is a very hardy plant from northern China and Korea whilst L. nepalense (bottom) is much more tender.
